आजभन्दा करिव ३० वर्ष पहिले घोराही उप.म.न.पा. साविक वार्ड नं ३ र ४ मा कूनै संस्थागत विद्यालय नरहेको कारणले यस भेगका अभिवावकहरु आफ्ना वालवालिकाहरुलाई संस्थागत विद्यालयमा पढाउन घोराहीमा रहेका संस्थागत विद्यालयहरुमा पठाउनु पर्ने बाध्यता हुनुको साथै उक्त समयमा स्कुल बस सञ्चालनमा नरहेको र हिडेर जाँदा कटुवाखोलाले अर्को समस्या पूर्याउने भएकाले यस क्षेत्रका स्थानीयवासीहरुको आफ्नो वडामा एउटा संस्थागत विद्यालय आवश्यक रहेको निकर्ष अनुरुप वडा नं ३ र ४ का स्थानीयहरु भेलाभई यामलाल पोखे्रलको अध्यक्षतामा एउटा समिती गठन गरी प्रिन्सिपल अमर सुवेदी र विद्यालय व्यवस्थापन समितीका अध्यक्षमा यामलाल पोखे्रललाई चयन गरी २०५२ साल मंसिर ०८ गते यस ज्ञानोदय सेकेण्डरी इंङ्गलिस स्कुलको विधिवत रुपमा स्थापना गरी पठन पाठन सुरु गरियो । 
     स्थापना भएको वर्ष प्रि. प्राइमरी कक्षावाट पठन पाठन सुरु गरेको यस स्कुलले अभिवावकहरुको चाहाना अनुरुप क्रमिक रुपमा कक्षा थप गर्दै २०६४ सालमा पहिलो पटक विद्यार्थीहरुलाई एस. एल. सि. परिक्षामा सामेल गराएको थियो ।
